This quote has always warmed my heart. At the of the day, we are gamers making the games we want to see out there.
As a child, I took to writing as my medium of expressing the creative worlds that swirled in my head. I spent years honing those skills, from writing comics as a child to writing short stories and novels by the age of 14. When I was 16, I learned about a little game engine called Unity, it instantly clicked for me and I found a love for programming in C#. I'm passionate about making immersive and captivating gaming experiences and growing my skills with each project I tackle. My background in writing and programming allows me to dive into game development from a creative and technical standpoint. I am currently part of a Unity Development Apprenticeship at GameDevHQ where I can deepen and polish my skills.
I use Medium to document my projects in the form of articles by using the Feynman Technique to enrich my learning while giving something back to the community— openly sharing what I learn on the go and how each significant facet of my projects is created. My hope is that others who share a passion for game development can learn alongside me.
I am currently seeking work opportunities in the video game industry, if you're interested feel free to contact me via any of the following:
